Starhawk
is always working with quite a few organizations, and has several ongoing
projects she is involved with. There are links to some of these below:
- The
Marija Gimbutas Film: for 10 years Starhawk
has been working with filmmaker Donna
Read (The Goddess Remembered,
Burning Times) on Signs Out
of Time -- the documentary about
the life of influential archaeologist
Marija Gimbutas. The film has been released
and is now available on DVD and VHS! For
information and ordering details, visit
the Belili
Productions website.
- Reclaiming:
Starhawk is a co-founder of this tradition of witchcraft, now grown
to a global community of Pagans who link magic and activism.
- RANT:
the Root Activist Network of Trainers,
provides
training and organizational support for
actions in the Global Justice and related
movements. Since formed in January of
2001, RANT has offered training support
for campaigns in California, Brazil, Argentina,
Quebec, Genoa, Washington DC, New York,
Kananaskis, and elsewhere.
(contact info coming soon)
- Living
River Pagan Cluster: The Living River is part street-theater, part sacred
dance, part ritual which has become a regular part of global demonstrations.
For more information, you can visit the Pagan Cluster website.
- EAT: Earth
Activist Trainings combine a basic permaculture course (taught by expert
and colleague Penny Livingston-Stark) with activist trainings and nature
observation, all of it grounded in earth-based spirituality. For currently
scheduled EAT trainings, see the Schedule Page.
For full information and an application,
visit the
EAT web site.
